LANDLORD & PROPERTY OWNER TERMS OF SERVICE

This Landlord Addendum ("Landlord Terms") governs all registered Landlords and Property Owners using MyKeja to list properties, manage leases, and collect rent.

1. Compliance with Kenyan Land Laws

As a Landlord on MyKeja, you represent and warrant that:

• You have legal ownership or valid authorization to list the properties on the platform.
• Your rental activities comply with the Land Act (2012), Land Registration Act (2012), and Sectional Properties Act (2020) of the Laws of Kenya.
• Your lease templates and policies align with the statutory provisions of the Rent Restriction Act (Cap 296).

2. Accuracy of Listings & Pricing

• Truth in Advertising: All properties listed must accurately represent their condition, location, size, and monthly rent rate.
• Video Walkthroughs: Any video links or media attached must be authentic and represent the exact rental unit.
• Subscription and Listing Limits: You agree to pay the subscription plan fees associated with your tier. Pay-per-listing fees must be settled prior to publication.

3. Rent Collection & Gateway Integration

• Payment Credentials: You are solely responsible for inputting correct M-Pesa Till or Paybill credentials.
• Manual Receipts: Caretakers assigned by you to record manual cash or bank payments must be authorized under your personal supervision.
• Disbursement: Funds processed online are routed directly through integrated gateways to your bank/mobile wallet. MyKeja does not hold rental revenues in escrow.
